Blessings Stemley Road Elementary School! My name is Tonya Smith and I am from Anniston, AL in the White Plains area. This will be my 17th year to teach in early childhood education. I received my CDA and Associate Degree from Gadsden State Community College, and my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Athens State University.

My husband, Tony and I live in Lincoln. We have been married for 27 years and we have three children together: Tyler, Kaleb, and Haley. We are avid Alabama fans, RTR! We are also members of teh First Baptist Church of White Plains. 

I am elated to join the SRES family! Pre-K Is my absolute favorite grade level to teach. I have a true passion for this age group! Helping each child progress in all areas of their development-academic, social/emotional, language, and motor- is a challenge that I am honored to accept daily. I strive to create a community of learners that nurtures this growth in a positive, fun environment.
