Technology Integration Specialist & Title I Coordinator 

My name is Ashley Gable. I am the Title I Coordinator and Technology Integration Specialist here at Childersburg Middle School. I am also often referred to as a Dynamic Learning Partner (DLP) coach. I help teachers integrate technology in meaningful ways through classroom instruction. I also coordinate events for parents to learn more about Title I and ways to support their child at home as well as the ways we support students here at school. Throughout the year, I coordinate and help conduct PBL showcases to highlight innovative learning as well as Parent Literacy and Math workshops. 

Prior to my current role, I served as the 7th Grade English teacher, and a 6th Grade reading teacher. I have a passion for instruction and literacy, and I love to help craft quality professional learning experiences for teachers. I also am a huge advocate for Project-Based Learning, STEAM, and computational thinking; I work to support teachers in embedding STEAM and computational thinking in all courses. I also facilitate cross-curricular Project-Based Learning planning sessions for teachers. Supporting teachers in preparing students to be college and career ready is a top priority.

I love being part of the Childersburg Middle School family, and I have worked here for most of my educational career. I can’t wait for another innovative and exciting year at CMS! Go Tigers!
