Mikayla Harris is in her second year of teaching. She has her Bachelor's of Science in Education with a concentration in English Language Arts. Mikayla grew up in Talladega, AL, and attended college at Jacksonville State University. She wanted to pursue a career that allowed her to make an impact on people's lives, so she chose to teach. Mikayla loves to explore the outdoors, travel, and read. She loves Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Stranger Things, Little Women, Percy Jackson, and much more. She is married and has two dogs! She will be teaching 10th, 11th, and 12th grade English, and she is excited for a new year at CHS!
