Mr. Tony McCarley

Hello, Mr. Mac here!

I am the elementary music teacher and band director of the Pride of the Wolfpack band program. I am currently in my first year of teaching and I couldn't be more thrilled to be here sharing my love of music here at FHS. I'm originally from Lanett, AL, but currently reside in Oxford, AL, with my wife, Amber Conaway (band director at Munford High School), our children Nathaniel and Lila Ann, dog Boulder, and cat Zoe. I also have two children, Ashten and Andie, who reside in Florida. I'm an Air Force veteran of 11 years who has had the great opportunity to be a military musician, as well as, serve as a telecommunications technician. I attended Jacksonville State University and University of West Georgia where I earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in trombone performance. I am currently pursuing another master's at Jacksonville State University in music education. I've had the privilege of performing and witnessing the power of music all of my life; I have seen it be a comfort in times of trouble, a motivator, and a source of joy.

I look forward to growing and learning through music with my Fayetteville family!
