Hi! My name is Kayla Lucas and I am currently the Speech-Language Pathologist for Sycamore Elementary, Winterboro High School, and BB Comer High School. I grew up in Fayetteville, AL and attended Fayetteville High School for elementary and high school. I then went to The University of Alabama to receive both my undergraduate and graduate degrees in Speech-Language Pathology. I worked my first year in Jasper City Schools before returning home to Talladega County. I’m so excited to be able to serve students in my home system.

I married a wonderful man named Austin in September 2020, and we spend most of our free time outdoors. We love hiking and chasing waterfalls! Some of my favorite things are Christmas, pickles, and Taco Mama.

I love all of my speech students so much and love what I do here at Sycamore!
