I have one little boy who turned 9 this year. His name is Brooks and he is my heart. I have an undergraduate degree in business management from the University of Montevallo. After having Brooks, I went back to Jacksonville State University for my master's degree in elementary education. I have been at A.H. Watwood Elementary for 9 years. The first 3 years, I worked in the office and then transitioned to Pre-K where I was the auxiliary teacher for 2 years while completing my education degree. This year is my 4th year teaching Kindergarten and I absolutely love it and my students! I truly believe it takes a special person to teach and I am so thankful God chose this path for me.
