Hello!  Welcome to the adventurous world of Kindergarten! Every day is a new day in our classroom and we are always busy learning and working together. This is my 14th year as a teacher, but my fourth year as a kindergarten teacher at Munford Elementary School. I taught second grade at Lincoln Elementary School for two years before moving to Munford Elementary School. My prior teaching experience has been in Ohio. I have taught everything from PreK- 3rd grade. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Kent State University in 2007. I earned a Master's Degree in Educational Administration in 2013 from Youngstown State University. I am also trained in the Science of Reading.

                I moved to Alabama from Ohio in July 2017. I spent 15 years in Ohio prior to moving to Alabama. I grew up in Pennsylvania before moving to Ohio. I am married to Brian and have two children. My daughter is also a teacher at Munford Elementary School. We are expecting our first grandchild in December.

                I am so blessed to be part of the Munford family! I truly love being a kindergarten teacher because I am able to spend my day with your precious children and experience the joy and laughter that each child brings every day!
