I am a lifelong resident of Childersburg, and am proud to say that I attended A.H. Watwood Elementary School from 1979-1983. I began my teaching career at Watwood in 2009 as a 1st grade teacher, and became the ARI Reading Specialist in 2018. As the Reading Specialist, I partner with classroom teachers to increase student achievement in the English Language Arts through the implementation of research-based instructional practices.
