My name is Helen Calhoun.  I am excited about this school year.  I am teaching fifth and sixth grade reading. I have been teaching for more than twenty years here at Stemley Road Elementary.  I earned a BA Degree from Talladega College and a MS Ed. Degree from Jacksonville State University.

     I have been married for forty years to my husband, Curtis.  We have two children, Curtis and Naquisha.  I also have a German Shepherd, two and a half years old.  His name is Sterling.  I am looking forward to having a wonderful year!!!
