Hello!  My name is Catherine Strickland.  I have taught at Munford Elementary for 17 years. I'm starting my 18th year.  I taught fifth grade my first year.  The last 17 years I have taught third grade.   I have one daughter, Rachel, and four grandchildren.  I have one granddaughter and three grandsons.  They range in age from 4-13.  They all attend school at White Plains Elementary and White Plains Middle School.   Some of my favorite things are Auburn Football, candles, popcorn, music, dancing, concerts and Diet Coke.   

I look forward to a great year educating the students that I receive.  I have high expectations for my students and expect all of my students to do their best and LEARN.   Everyone can learn.   I help them realize that everyone's best is not the same.  As long as they are doing their best, that is all anyone can ask of them.
