I graduated from the University of Montevallo in 1998 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood & Elementary Education.  I graduated from the University of Alabama in 2007 with a Master’s Degree in Library Science. I have taught in the state of Alabama since 1999.  I taught second grade in Bibb County one year, then I taught third grade in Coosa County for three years.  I have taught grades one, four, five, and six here at BBCMES. I was the high school media specialist at BBCMHS for three years.
