Hello! I am Debra Armstrong. I have been teaching at B.B. Comer Elementary for 28 years. I currently teach second grade, but I also have experience in third and fifth grades. I have lived in Sylacauga, Alabama all of my life, except for the time away at college.  I attended Auburn University where I received my B.S. Degree in Elementary Education. Several years later, I attended The University of Montevallo and received a Master's Degree in Elementary Education. During the 2009-10 school year, I was named the B.B. Comer Elementary Teacher of the Year as well as the Talladega County Elementary Teacher of the Year.  I have one cat named Callie.  I have two precious Godchildren, Anna Claire (age 15) and Braxton (age 12). I am a member of Mignon Baptist Church. I am also an independent consultant for Paparazzi Accessories. In my spare time, I enjoy cooking. I am looking forward to a wonderful school year!
