Mikayla Harris is in her first year of teaching. She has her Bachelor's of Science in Education with a concentration in English Language Arts. Mikayla grew up in Talladega, AL, and attended college at Jacksonville State University. She wanted to pursue a career that allowed her to make an impact on people's lives, so she chose to teach. Mikayla loves to explore the outdoors, travel, and read. She also has a videography business with her husband. She loves Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Stranger Things, Little Women, Percy Jackson, and much more. She will be teaching 10th and 12th grade English and ACT Prep, and she is honored to be joining CHS!
