Kristy Benson

Eleanor Roosevelt once said, “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.”  It is my goal to help children and other adults believe in the beauty of their own dreams for both now and the future! Reading this as a young student also motivated me to try my best.  I, Kristy Benson, graduated from Locust Fork High School. There, I was involved in as many activities, clubs, and sports possible. I then attended the University of Alabama and Jacksonville State University.  My love for learning along with my greater love for helping others helps me succeed as an educator. Speaking of love, my little girls/dogs, Shelbi, Poppins, and Abbi, have all of my heart! I would have many, many dogs if I could.  My husband, Alex Benson, and I recently wed in May of 2020.  Outside of L.E.S., I serve the GoTeam Coordinator at my church, Faith Community Fellowship in Pell City. Some of my other interests include going to concerts, watching/playing sports, watching some episode on Roku, playing games, and spending time with family/friends.  Lincoln Elementary School has numerous positive qualities, and I am blessed to be a part of the LES family. It is my goal to instill confidence in students and teachers so they can be great learners and leaders.
