Hi! My name is Pam Hicks and I am a Pre-K Lead Teacher.  I have been teaching for 30 years!  Teaching is a passion of mine!  I have taught 3rd grade, 2nd grade, Kindergarten, and was a Reading Coach for two years.  During the time I was a Reading Coach; I realized I missed being in the classroom, so I decided to go back to the classroom as a Pre-K Teacher.  This is my third year as a Pre-K Lead Teacher and my third year at Stemley Road Elementary.  I absolutely LOVE Pre-K and all the growing, playing, learning and fun we get to have!

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education/Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Jacksonville State University.  

I am from Lincoln, Alabama. I am married to Steve and we have a daughter, Callie, and a Shorkie named Louie. 

When I'm not in the classroom I enjoy gardening, spending time with family and friends, and watching Auburn football (War Eagle)!!!
