In order to provide families with additional time to make arrangements for childcare during the extended closure, Talladega County Schools will remain open through Wednesday of this week. Yesterday, Alabama State Superintendent, Dr. Eric Mackey, notified school districts that any students absent from school Monday through Wednesday of this week will be excused. Test exemptions will not be impacted by these absences. As of this time, students should plan to return to school on Monday, April 6th.
